Your Faithful Friend and Loyal Listener: I have been a listener my whole life. Quietly picking up details from those around me. The term "Wallflower" refers typically to a female in the early nineteenth century. In the times when females had a "season" so to speak, in which they would be flaunted around ballrooms in England and hopefully courted... a wallflower was the term used to describe shy females who kept to themselves. They hardly danced or mingled with society. Though they kept to themselves, if anyone ever bothered to get to know one of these girls; they would find they were more often than not, the most interesting and perceptive people in the ballroom that evening. Wallflowers & Wishful Thinking is a blog of poetry and brief writings about the observer, thoughts of love, and tears of pain. With a little randomity thrown in.
